Mounted Machine Gun Optic (MMO)

BCF is now delivering Mounted Machine Gun Optic (MMO) sights to the U.S. Army. BCF is contracted to deliver a system compatible with the Mk19 40mm grenade launcher. The Mk19 ballistic mount allows the BCF MMO to be mounted close to the barrel of the Mk19 so the gunner can aim and maneuver over center. It is designed to offer a very comfortable shooting position. The ballistic mount also allows rapid dial-in (from 200-1500m) of the range and features a spin drift compensated twist angle. The BCF MMO with its large field of view allows for rapid acquisition of the target with both eyes with full situational awareness. Once the range has been set on the mount it is a simple as lining up the red dot to the target.

The BCF MMO delivers a significant increase in first burst Probability of Hit (Ph) over iron sights at ranges out to 1500m.

Versions of this sight are available for the M249 SAW, MK19, and the M2 Heavy Machine Gun.
